Languages and the tourist sector
Our first steps within the project activities were:

• elaboration of the overall report, which provides an overview of language learning in the tourist sector of the countries participating in the project.
• collection of best-practice examples and already existing learning materials

Handbook and tool box
The next step is:
- development of the draft version of the handbook and the tool box “Be multilingual! – Raising motivation of foreign language learners by implementing modern ways of learning in the tourist sector”. The handbook and tool box is based on three concepts: self-directed learning, family learning and content-related learning. After the testing phase of the draft methods and tools, handbook and toolbox will be available for language teachers and trainers as electronic and printed version.

Pilot tests

Testing developed concept of raising motivation for language learning.

Learning area focuses on the tourist sector. The learning area includes examples of new
and adapted methods, tools for language teachers and trainers as well as tools
and links to the language websites for learners.
